Enamel Stories
Style your layers. Keep their stories. Version 1.0.0. Last updated: November 7, 2026. No sign-in, purchase or subscription is needed. Core tools and built-in samples work offline.
Start with a sample
From Styling Tray, open any Sample set and choose Edit Sample. This creates a personal draft; the original remains unchanged. Change the neckline, add pieces from the tray and use drag or position buttons. Save needs at least one valid piece. You can keep up to three necklaces, two earrings and four other pieces in a set.
Add a piece
Open Jewelry Box > Add a Piece. Choose a photo, take a photo or use a geometric sample. Enter a name and category; material and colour are personal tags. Known lengths must be 0.1–1000 cm. Not Sure keeps the value unknown. Measurements in Settings changes display units; it does not change the stored length. Use manual outline points and the eraser to edit the cutout without changing your original system photo.
Understand layers
The neckline canvas is a schematic arrangement, not AR or a real-size measurement. Adjacent known necklace lengths less than 3 cm apart show an optional note. Exactly 3 cm does not trigger it. Unknown lengths are excluded. Style Check lets you compare the canvas with a wear photo without reshaping the photo.
Keep a story
Open a piece and choose Edit / Write a Note, or open the set’s story. Tap Record Note to request microphone access. Pause, resume, stop and play before choosing Save Recording. The recording is bound to the object shown on screen, up to 180 seconds. Leaving the foreground interrupts recording; it never resumes automatically. Text notes are always available.
Permission and photo problems
If camera or microphone access is off, choose a photo, use a sample or write a note. Change access only if you wish through Settings > Open System Settings. Use a static JPEG, PNG or HEIC photo. If an iCloud-only photo cannot download, choose a photo already stored on your device. No full-library permission is needed.
Saving, drafts and missing files
Unsaved edits have Save Draft, Discard Changes and Keep Editing options. Drafts appear in your library after restarting. If storage is full, free device space and retry; do not assume an error means a successful save. If a file is unavailable, the record text remains: replace the photo or record the story again. The app cannot restore files from a developer server.
Export and delete
Export Image creates a PNG with a 2048-pixel long edge; choose whether private text and photos are included. Export Audio shares one chosen M4A recording. Settings > Export All Data creates a ZIP containing manifest.json, records.json, images, audio and README.txt. Exports are readable copies, not an in-app restore backup. Delete a piece to see the affected sets first; they remain marked Needs Review. Delete a set leaves its jewelry pieces intact. Delete All Personal Data removes personal records and app files, while built-in samples and original photos remain.
Offline pages and backups
Core editing does not need a network. These help and legal pages load via HTTPS, with bundled copies if the public page cannot load. Your iOS backup settings may include app data. We cannot promise that a backup exists, and the app has no import or cloud recovery service.
