Privacy Policy

Who we are and scope

Enamel Stories provides a personal jewelry organizer and styling tool for adults aged 18 and over. This policy applies to the iPhone app and these public information pages. Last updated: November 7, 2026.

Your personal library stays on your device

The app stores jewelry names, categories, material and colour tags, optional lengths, placement coordinates, neckline choices, stories, drafts, selected photos and recordings in its private device storage. These records are used to show and edit your library. We do not receive your library, photos, notes or recordings on a developer server. No account is required.

Permissions you control

Camera access is requested only after you choose Take Photo, to photograph jewelry or an outfit. Microphone access is requested only after you choose Record Note, to record the story of a piece or set. Recording is visible, limited to 180 seconds per recording and pauses when the app leaves the foreground. You may decline either permission and use samples, a selected photo or a written note. The system photo picker provides only items you select; the app does not scan your photo library. Change permissions in iOS Settings.

No ads, tracking or remote analytics

The app has no advertising, purchases, third-party analytics, tracking identifiers, cloud AI, authentication or developer-operated content upload. It does not request location, contacts or health data. Material tags and layouts are your descriptions and references, not authentication, valuation or automated body analysis.

Public web pages and network data

Opening Privacy Policy, Terms of Use or Help & Support in the app requests the public page from Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare and network providers may process IP addresses, request URLs, timestamps, browser or device headers and security logs to deliver and protect the website under their own practices. Your jewelry records are not included in these requests. A bundled local copy is available if loading fails. Cloudflare privacy information: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/ . We do not run analytics or cookies on these pages.

Storage, retention and backups

Personal records and media remain until you delete them or uninstall the app. Files use iOS app sandboxing and file protection. Your iOS backup settings may include app data. We do not provide our own cloud sync or guarantee that a system backup exists or can be restored. Temporary export copies are cleaned up after sharing; copies retained by recipients or other apps are outside our control. Remote retention for your jewelry library is not applicable because it is not uploaded.

Exports and deletion

Export Image includes the scope you choose; audio is exported only when explicitly selected. Export All Data creates readable JSON, photos and audio in a ZIP. Exports are readable copies, not an in-app restore backup. Delete a piece or set from its detail page, or choose Settings > Delete All Personal Data to remove personal records, drafts and associated app files. Built-in samples and original system photos remain. Deleting inside the app cannot delete copies you already shared.

Your choices and rights

You can inspect and edit your records, export readable copies, delete personal data and withdraw permissions through iOS Settings. Because we do not receive the local library, we cannot retrieve or erase it for you remotely. Depending on your country, you may have rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction or complaint to a data protection authority. Contact us about website-related requests; do not email private recordings or sensitive images unnecessarily.

Children, international access and security

The product is intended for adults, not children. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal library data. Website delivery may involve infrastructure in different countries. No storage or transmission method is absolutely secure; use a device passcode and choose export destinations carefully.
